Restaurants, schools, clinics and public restrooms need a plumbing fixture set that residential blocks do not cover, and these 23 are it: NSF compartment sinks, hand and mop sinks, floor drains and a floor sink, a drinking fountain, urinals and screens, standard and accessible toilet partitions, a roll-in shower, and restroom accessories down to the paper towel dispenser. The plumbing engineer places fixtures on the P-FIXT layer of the plumbing plan, and the architect repeats them on the enlarged restroom plan, where toilet partitions go on A-FLOR-TPTN and accessories on A-FLOR-SPCL.
The compartment sinks are parametric. Each bowl defaults to 20 in with drainboards of 18 in, so the one-compartment sink is 20 x 24 in, the two-compartment 58 in and the three-compartment 96 in with drainboards both ends. The FDA Food Code expects a three-compartment sink for manual warewashing, which is why the 96 in block is the one most food permits need. Food equipment drains to a floor sink through an air gap under the indirect waste rules of IPC Chapter 8; the 12 in floor sink block is the receptor for that.
The accessible restroom pieces take their numbers from the 2010 ADA Standards. The ADA partition is 60 x 60 in with the door swinging out: 604.8.1.1 sets 60 in minimum width and a 56 in minimum depth for a wall-hung water closet. The standard stall is 36 x 60 in. The roll-in shower is 60 x 30 in, the minimum interior size in 608.2.2. Urinal rims sit no higher than 17 in, and wall-mounted accessories between 27 and 80 in off the floor may project no more than 4 in into circulation, which matters for the 10 in deep hand dryer.
Set everything by its back line. Most fixtures insert at back-center or back-left on the wall line, so draw the finished wall face first and snap to it. Drains and the floor sink insert at their center, which is the point you coordinate with the slab and the waste line below. Use the partition's swing_out setting rather than rotating the door leaf.

The three-compartment NSF sink block is 96 x 24 in: three 20 in bowls plus an 18 in drainboard at each end. Bowl size runs 16 to 24 in, depth 18 to 30 in, and drainboards 12 to 30 in, so match the specified model. The one- and two-compartment versions are 20 and 58 in long.
The 2010 ADA Standards require a wheelchair-accessible compartment at least 60 in wide, and at least 56 in deep with a wall-hung water closet or 59 in deep with a floor-mounted one. The ADA partition block is 60 x 60 in with an out-swinging door, adjustable to 72 in in each direction. The standard stall block is 36 x 60 in.
A floor drain takes water off the floor through a grate; the catalog has a 6 in round and a 12 in square grated drain. A floor sink is a deeper receptor set into the floor that accepts indirect waste from kitchen equipment through an air gap. Health and plumbing codes call for the floor sink under ice machines, prep sinks and similar equipment.
