The 34 blocks in this category furnish the interior layout of commercial space: desks, workstations, cubicles, conference tables, reception and nurse stations, cash wraps, lockers, lab benches, salon stations, gym equipment and a handful of exterior pieces like bollards and a bike rack. An interior designer or space planner draws them on the furniture plan, which is its own sheet in most tenant fit-out sets, on the I-FURN layer (or A-FURN when the architect carries furniture). Equipment such as copiers and vending machines usually goes on a separate equipment layer so the electrical engineer can find every plug load.
Real sizes are the point. Workstations come at 48 x 30 and 60 x 30 in, private desks at 60 x 30 and 72 x 36 in, and the cubicle is a 72 in square panel footprint. The conference tables step through 6, 8, 10 and 12 ft; the parametric conference table's 158 x 86 in footprint includes its eight chairs, so use it when you are proving a room fits and a bare top when chairs are drawn separately. For circulation, the 2010 ADA Standards set a 36 in minimum accessible route, and 902 wants accessible work surfaces 28 to 34 in high with knee clearance under them.
Service counters carry an accessible_len parameter set to 36 in because 904.4 requires a portion of a sales or service counter at least 36 in long and no higher than 36 in. The cash wrap and nurse station both put the staff side on the wall line and the public side at +Y; keep the accessible section on the public approach, not tucked behind a return.
Some pointers from practice. Most pieces insert at the back-left corner on the wall line, so place against the wall first and let the depth fall into the room. The cubicle is freestanding: its datum is the panel footprint corner, entry on the -Y edge, and it is meant to sit back to back with its partner on a spine. The dock leveler inserts at the dock face as a slab pit, not against a wall, so snap it to the building edge.

The two open-plan workstation blocks are 48 x 30 in and 60 x 30 in, with widths adjustable from 42 to 72 in. Private desks come at 60 x 30 and 72 x 36 in. A 30 in depth leaves room for a monitor at a comfortable distance; allow a chair zone behind it before the next desk or aisle.
The parametric conference table block measures 158 x 86 in with eight chairs drawn around a 120 x 48 in top, which shows the real envelope. Fixed tops come at 72 x 36, 96 x 48, 120 x 48 and 144 x 54 in. Beyond the chairs, keep a 36 in accessible route around the table so people can pass seated guests.
Under the 2010 ADA Standards 904.4, part of a sales or service counter must be at least 36 in long and no more than 36 in above the floor. The cash wrap and nurse station blocks carry an accessible_len parameter defaulting to 36 in so the lowered section is drawn on the plan instead of noted.
