3Dillo for homeowners

Walk through your house before you build it.

Planning a new house or a remodel? 3Dillo turns the floor plan into a furnished, lit 3D house you can walk through.

3Dillo is the 3D product from the makers of CADdillo, on 3dillo.ai. Same account, same credits. Opening and exporting DWG/DXF is always free.

The problem

The hard part of building a house

A plan is hard to picture

Lines on a page do not tell you if the kitchen feels tight or the living room gets the light.

Changes get expensive later

Moving a wall on paper costs nothing. Moving it after framing costs a lot.

Everyone pictures a different house

You, your partner and your builder each imagine something else from the same drawing.

How 3Dillo solves it

Three ways to start

  1. 1

    Start from a 3D template

Pick a ready-made 3D building, such as the ranch on this page, tell us what to change, and we render your version.

  2. 2

    Bring your own plan

A DWG or DXF from your architect, designer or builder. Ask them for the file.

  3. 3

    Describe it to Dillo

Tell Dillo, the AI drafter, what you want. It draws the plan first, then 3Dillo builds the house from it.

Every image on this page is a 3Dillo render of a floor plan. Watch the full 3D house walkthrough.

Answers

3Dillo for homeowners: questions

I am not an architect. Can I still use 3Dillo?

Yes. You do not need to know CAD or 3D software. Describe the building to Dillo, the AI drafter: it draws the floor plan first, and 3Dillo renders the house from that plan. Or start from a ready-made 3D template, or a DWG or DXF from your architect or builder.

Can I try it for free?

Every new account gets 50 free credits and needs no card. The free credits are for trying the AI drafter, which draws floor plans; a 3D render is 100 credits and needs a credit pack or Premium.

What will I actually get?

Photoreal stills of the rooms as PNG images and a walkthrough as an MP4 video that follows a path from the front walk through every room.

Can 3Dillo help me plan a remodel or an addition?

Yes, from a floor plan of the house as you want it. Draw or edit the plan with the change, have it rendered, and walk through the result before you commit to it.

Can I hand the renders to my builder or architect?

Yes. You keep the rights to your drawings and to the renders made from them (3Dillo terms of service). The renders show the layout; they are not construction drawings, and your builder still works from the real plans. Rendered files are kept for 30 days and then deleted, so download what you want to keep.

What does it cost to see my house in 3D?

On pay as you go, every 3D render is 100 credits, flat: a set of photoreal stills or a walkthrough video, a first render or a re-render after an edit. Credits for a render that fails are given back automatically. Pay-as-you-go credit packs are $10 for 100 credits, $20 for 250, $30 for 500 or $50 for 1,000, with no subscription. 3Dillo Premium is $99 a month, or $950 a year (20% off). Founding offer, limited time: for the first 12 months it includes unlimited AI floor plan drawings and unlimited 3D renders (photoreal stills and walkthrough videos), with AI edits included and the price locked. Unlimited is subject to fair use and available rendering capacity. The founding offer runs 12 months from signup; renewals are at the then-current Premium terms. Every new account starts with 50 free credits and no card; those are for trying the AI drafter, and a render needs a credit pack or Premium. Full details are on 3dillo.ai/pricing.

How long does it take?

There is no fixed turnaround: renders run on a shared GPU queue, a set of stills is quicker than a walkthrough, and at busy times both take longer. A walkthrough is well over a thousand rendered frames; the ranch house walkthrough at caddillo.com/3d-house-walkthrough/ is 1,606 frames, 67 seconds at 24 frames a second.

Is my house plan kept private?

To render a drawing, 3Dillo builds a scene file from it (walls, rooms, openings and furniture positions) and renders it on its own machines first; when they are busy, the job runs on rented GPU servers at RunPod in their Secure Cloud data centers, and the scene file and output are deleted from that server when the job ends. Scene files and renders are stored for 30 days, then deleted.
